My name is Anna, and here’s a little bit about me.

I’m a wedding planner based in Des Moines, and I believe every wedding should feel like a reflection of you.

I didn’t always see myself as a wedding planner—I actually started in early childhood education and taught preschool for about five years. It was rewarding work, but over time, I felt a creative itch I couldn’t ignore. Even while teaching, I found myself pouring energy into the little details: designing classroom spaces that felt warm and inviting, organizing themed parties for my students, and styling fun birthday celebrations for my friends on the weekends. I’d spend hours crafting décor, making mood boards, and hunting for just the right details to bring a moment to life. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was already flexing my event planning muscles—one hand in glitter, the other holding a hot glue gun. I’ve always been the one making things “Pinterest-worthy.”

Creating beautiful, intentional spaces has always brought me joy. Whether it was rearranging my living room for the fifth time just to make it feel “right,” or turning a backyard into a mini garden party, I’ve always loved curating environments that make people feel something special. So when I transitioned from teaching into the wedding industry in 2022, it felt like the most natural next step. And now, I get to bring that same joy, care, and creative energy to couples on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

I love working with couples who cherish sentimental details. Whether it’s including heirlooms in your décor, crafting meaningful moments, or adding personal touches that make your day unforgettable, I’m here to make those special elements happen.
